Cortes-Earle's brochure design wins printing industry award

May 12, 2010 - The brochure designed by Cecilia Cortes-Earle for the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) received, this week, the 2010 Excellence in Print Award from the Printing & Graphics Association Mid Atlantic (PGAMA).

The piece, which was designed to commemorate the grand innaugural opening of the new USP headquarters in Rockville, MD, awarded Chroma Graphics, Inc., with the Excellence in Print Award under the category of Booklets, Large, over 6x9, Large Press Process.

The design of the brochure showcases photography by Kevin Kennedy, directed by Cecilia Cortes-Earle. The piece was printed on a pearl textured stock with velum sheets incorporated in between both front and back covers along with a front cover pocket to include insert self-tour maps and agenda.
